This location use to be Dearholt and I did business with Jim Dearholt for many years. When he gave me an estimate of the time, my car would be ready for pickup, he was right on the money. .It's now been the second time I've come for an oil change. And you had the car for 3 and a 1/2 hours, and when I showed up, the car had not even had an oil change. And I left without my tires, being rotated, which is usually what they do with my oil changes. I hope next time I get a little bit more accurate time for pickup as I inconvenienced a friend to drive me and pick me up. Thank you

Browns automotive is very thorough and very expensive. I would say at the top end above dealer costs. The work quoted on my vehicle required one and a half to two hours labor and browns was going to charge around $1,400. Parts additional 700. I bought the parts online for $50 and installed them myself in 2 hours. I didn't really want to do the work myself. If you think those costs are reasonable and it's not price gouging but I'm sure they don't pay there mechanics $650 an hour. I'm still investigating the costs associated with all the other items they quoted I will post those online for the Publix review. I went in there and told them the fan motor on my air conditioner was making very loud noises and probably some kind of animal made a nest in there cuz the vehicle sat idle for a while. Browns charge me $80 to tell me what I just told them that the fan motor needed to be replaced. I don't think they took the car apart to look at it they just listen to it like I did. Sure enough when I took the fan motor o ut it was a little nest built inside it I'm sure the motor wasn't damaged and still working condition but I still replaced it. But they did take a lot of pictures and were very thorough with letting me know all the items that needed to be worked on. But I guess the consumer pays for all those fancy computers and pictures and all their employees insurance social security costs fancy buildings. On and on.
