I have been taking ALL my vehicles to This place for 10+ years, investing approximately $15,000 of work. They are VERY PRICY but they have got the job done before. Unfortunately, today that is not the case! I took my truck in for a/c problems. We let them know we could not hear or Feel the a/c compressor engaging,, that The fan turns on, blows air, and there was Freon. We get one phone call stating they checked pressures and found leaks with a low amount of Freon. They stated it would be $600 to replace leaks, lines, recharge, and our truck would be up and running by 2pm! Second phone call comes in, around 1-130pm… Good News BUT Bad News! They fixed the leaks and lines along with having to fill freon because there was none, which contradicts what they said in the first phone call and unfortunately, our compressor is broken and now we are having to pay, $600 + $1,300 = $1,900 total! Outrageous!!! We are back to square one, out $600, and are about to cut ties with a great relationship with Browns! After speaking with receptionist, and in fact reminding her, we told her there was freon, and reminding also that she stated a few hours prior that it was low, but yet she told us in the second phone call there was none? She did not say a word! All of this could have been avoided, if they “the professionals,” did their job right! All I am asking is they make this right! I really don’t want to burn this bridge but I will if we cannot fix this situation. I look forward to hearing from someone soon.
