Rio Rancho
Where do I begin? I decided to come here based upon the reviews but that changed very quickly. I made my appointment online for 1000 am. I show up 30 minutes early only to be told " there are 11 cars in front of you and you'll need to leave your car for the day. But, we can give you a ride home.." Q. what's the sense of scheduling an appointment if there are 11 others in front of me??? I get the ride home at 1030 and a phone call around 4 pm telling me that I need to have the injector replaced, and oh by the way we heard knocking on your motor, took some oil out and found metal shavings in it. So you'll need a motor. I get picked up and brought back to the shop where the manager( a bald headed guy ) looks and says "I think this is the oil they pulled from your jeep. I was very suspect of this as I just changed my own oil less than a week ago. He proceeds to ask me if I want to fix the injectors. but then tells me they can't do it today or tomorrow and I would just be placed in cue to get it repaired. Quotes me almost $1200 bucks for the repair. Q. As a manager, If you just told someone their motor is shot, why in the world would you ask to repair the minor problem? - also how did I know the oil with the shavings was from my vehicle? Nothing was marked to identify that it came from my vehicle. I also asked them to provide me a quote on replacement motor and associated items, provided my email and was told they would follow up in 2 days. I ended up going Firestone the next day and had the repair done in 2-3 hours for half the cost with great customer service. Thankfully i did have my old oil to verify their findings. it's been a week since the appointment and I haven't heard NADA, NIL, NOTHING from the Rio Rancho shop. I called two other shops about a replacement motor and had quotes within a couple of hours. Honestly, the service thinks they're cool with sending photos, again how does the customer know it's their vehicle?? After speaking with a representative from the company regarding this experience, I certainly hope things will change. This business needs to take a serious look at their business practice. They failed on ALL fronts. Take your Business elsewhere!
