Trying a new auto mechanic shop is always a difficult experience especially when you're stuck and need something fast. Well, I decided to give Browns a shot since they were close by and all I think I needed was a battery. At first, when they offered their free diagnostic service, I thought, "Oh great, here we go..." But that turned out to be the first act of a good experience. With several other cars in front of us midday, they were still able to test the electrical system and change out a bad battery before closing. They even stayed open a while longer so we wouldn't be rushed for dinner....thanks. The results of the diagnostic service was well documented with photos and they listed a few things to check, but didn't use that as a crowbar to get more work. They stuck to the issue at hand and got the job done.

Browns Automative is amazing and the staff is very kind! I went to the location on 6001 4th St NW near the Smiths. My car was having some complicated issues and they did their best to fix it. Their prices seem great as well, I would’ve had to pay 4-6 times more if I took my vehicle to the dealership. So cashing out was pleasant since I paid far less than what I was prepared for. Very blessed to have come across their business, will be taking my vehicle there for now on!!

Experience was great! However, my husband received a call that car ready! When I called it wasn’t! When we got there car was already parked in the back area where cars are stored for next day pick up! I had mentioned that I would pick up car before 5pm! I arrived at 4:45-4:50pm! Not a big deal just communication between staff should be better which young lady mentioned to some of the staff I was picking it up! They obviously didn’t listen! LOL! Other than that, service was great and I been going to Browns automotive many years! My mom used to take her car there for servicing & she was always happy with service! She has passed and me & family will continue to take our vehicles there! Thanks to her we found an awesome mechanic business that does a good job with fabulous customer service!
