We recently were on vacation and our car broke down going through Albuquerque. Shops were full and wouldn't look at it and referred us to dons. Told them our situation and cliff got us in and back on the road with minimal costs. They could've easily taken advantage of our situation and charged us a lot of money but they were honest and fixed the issue. Thanks again cliff

I have to share my experience with Cliff, at Don’s Auto on 6/7/22. I had come up to ABQ from Las Cruces to pick up 1800lbs of tile for a remodeling project. I was driving a 2013 F150 that I had never driven before.. a new to me truck. The emergency brake had just been replaced by the previous owner and it would not release, or so I thought. The light would not go out, the warning sounds would not stop, and I was not comfortable driving it all the way to Las Cruces especially with all of that weight in the back end. My daughter’s in-laws live in ABQ and they recommended Don’s to me. So I called them and asked them to quickly look at the emergency brake to see if it was really engaged or not. They said bring it in! Cliff looked and said it was most likely a loose brake cable and it would be fine to drive. He also put it up on the rack and checked all of my tires knowing I had a long drive. I got home just fine! Everyone in ABQ has a gem of a repair shop in Don’s Auto..and it’s good to know there are still truly good people in the world.

I had a bad experience at the Los Ranchos location, BUT I wrote the business on FB and told them what happened and the owner got back to me right away. So we brought the vehicle to the Rio Rancho location. The owner apologized for what happened and he fixed my vehicle :) I would definitely go back to the Rio Rancho location, they were very friendly and nice and they were fast. They also have the cutest little shop dog! So thank you guys for everything.

Wonderful, quality service! Came in with an urgent serpentine belt fix. Got me in and fixed the car within a day. Checked out my entire vehicle with a free inspection. Trustworthy guys

Brown's is an excellent,trustworthy, place for emergencies and basic maintenance and upkeep. The guys are great to work with, they work fast, and they are so thorough at clearly making sure you understand all they'd with your vehicle. I'd recommend them to everyone!
