I've been looking for a new car care "home" for 1.5 years as my former mechanic retired. Based on my recent experience with Brown's Automotive, they are my new mechanics! They had to fix and oil leak as well as replace the power steering pump and lines. Unfortunately, the first power steering pump was defective, so they replaced it (at no extra cost). The second pump after 4 weeks was still making too much noise. The mechanic checked it out and explained that they always attempted to save customer money where possible. They used a generic pump in both cases. However, they recommended I use a Ford pump which would cost an additional nominal amount. They told me how much it would be, and stated it was up to me to decide if i wanted to go with Ford or try a third generic pump. I decided to go with the Ford product. My truck is running well with no noise. Yeah!!! The people at Brown's Automotive are honest and have the customer's best interest at heart. It might take more than once to fix a problem. But they explain what needs to be done and how they are trying to bring down your cost. I like how they treated me. Here customer service is number one.
