This is the only shop I will take my vehicles to. The technicians are very experienced and trustworthy. The diesel technicians very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing.

Great service and they do a great job. Even cleaned up the engine after they were done. It looks new under the hood now. They are up front with all the issues and costs and usually right on or under the estimate they give. Will be going back soon for more maintenance and repairs.

Brown Automotive on 4th NW is the best! I took it in on Monday for a clutch,pressure plate and bell housing and it was done yesterday. Im driving a new car! Pricy,good and quick.

I first visited their website and then just called and spoke to the manager Johnathan to see if I could get an oil change. I found out that they work on a first come first served basis---no appointments needed. I then brought in my car for an oil change and at no extra cost they included a free tire rotation and 52-point vehicle inspection. My technician Kyle found an issue (bent rim) that both Nissan dealerships never told me about. Lance then helped check me out via mobile (tap your phone) pay. Overall, I'd say bypass the corporate jiffy lube and overpriced dealership rates and get the guys @ Browns to fulfill your automotive needs. P.S---they will even offer you a discount towards your next service for providing an honest review. P.P.S---you might even get a chance to meet their tiny helper named Poncho: Half poodle half chiwawa. Who said dogs can't help out here and there?

I’m reviewing for multiple visits. They’ve done good work on some items (brakes, other) and their communication has been great, letting you know the status, etc. However I’ve had two visits where they either misdiagnosed or recommended items that was not necessary. First one was what I thought was a squeaking power steering pump. They checked it and said no issues, sometimes they just make that noise. Okay, I got a second opinion and the other shop immediately recognized and diagnosed the correct problem (torque converter) and I got it fixed and it worked. Last visit I had them test for a coolant leak issue in the engine. They came back with $5000-$8000 engine work. This despite my ask about a lower cost/less labor and parts intensive option that I’ve read up on which they “did not recommend”. Fair enough, I again took it for a second opinion and the immediate answer was “yeah, the problem/fix you describe is very common in the 4.3 liter engines and the heavier more expensive work isn’t usually necessary, I’d go that route” and here’s a much cheaper quote. I’m not saying Browns is a bad shop, they’ve done good work in the past but considering the last couple of visits I’m going to take my vehicles elsewhere in most cases.

Honest people. Honest work. Honest price! Highly highly recommend this shop! I was in a pinch and had them check out a last minute truck I was looking to purchase. There was a ton wrong with it and they were able to help me out ASAP since I am moving out of state. They took the time to educate me about the truck and helped me make the right decisions. They even called other companies on my behalf. Real genuine people that do great work for a great price. Wish I could bring them more service!
